Knowing how to take your makeup look from day to night is crucial for busy girls. Here we show you how to make this transition for a look that never goes out of style.

Going from the office to HH with the girls? Start with a base of daytime makeup by following the steps shown in our video tutorial for natural makeup. Then, grab your contouring palette and build on this look by watching our tutorial for evening makeup below.

 

Step 1. Contour

Darken your contouring makeup for a more dramatic, evening effect.

 

Step 2. Highlighter

Apply highlighter along cheekbones, brow bone, nose & Cupid's bow.

 

Step 3. Brow Product

Apply brow powder, then line and fill in.

 

Step 4. Concealer

Apply concealer to brow bone and other areas where touch-ups are needed.

 

Step 5: Eye Shadow

  • Apply transition color in the crease.
  • Deepen crease with darker eye shadow shade.
  • Press dark shadow on center of eyelid & blend.
  • Blend eye shadow along lower lash line.

 

Step 6: Eyeliner

Sweep thin black liner along lash line.

 

Step 7: Mascara

Swipe on an additional coat of mascara to both the top and bottom lashes for sultry, nighttime eyes.

 

Step 8: False Eyelashes

Apply falsies along the top lash line for added length. 

 

Step 9: Lipstick

Finish the look with a touch of matte lip cream!
