This Mother’s Day Playlist (and Mom-Friendly GRWM) Will Give You All the Feels

If you come here often, you probably know we love to curate themed playlists that align with GRWMs for all your life happenings — be it holidays like our festive party playlist or events like prom or Fashion Week. So clearly, Mother’s Day is another great opportunity, and we encourage you to mentally prepare for this emotional roller coaster of a playlist. Check out the below for a wild array of artists and genres — all about mom, of course.

Still need a Mother’s Day makeup look? Here’s an easy, mom-friendly, springy makeup tutorial by beauty vlogger Allie Glines. The best part is that the look is created using entirely drugstore products so it won’t break the bank

How to Get the Look: STEP 1: Prime your skin with Maybelline FaceStudio Master PrimeSTEP 2: Dot foundation all over your skin and blend with a makeup sponge. STEP 3: Apply concealer over any blemishes and then blend with the same makeup sponge you used to blend your concealer.  STEP 4: Next, apply concealer under your eyes, down the center of your nose and a little in the center of your forehead. After blending under your eyes with your sponge, dab that on your eyelid to create a base for your shadow. Set your under eye area with NYX HD Finishing Powder. Finish by lightly setting the rest of your face. STEP 5: Shape your brows with a brow pencil and brush them upwards with a spoolie. Finish with a brow gel. STEP 6: Dust bronzer onto your cheekbones and then apply the coral blush from the L'Oréal Paris Infallible Paints Blush Palette in super light, circular motions on your cheeks — blending upwards. Use what’s left on your brush and apply to the crease of your eye.  STEP 7: Apply a creamy matte shadow all over your eyelid, all the way up to your brow bone for your base. STEP 8: Using a taupe shadow, define your crease. Pinch your brush and apply on your lower lash line, too, for definition. STEP 9: Using a white shadow, start at the inner corner of your eye and apply all over your eyelid, stopping at your crease. Blend out. STEP 10: Apply a light coral shadow to the outer third of your eye, blending it into your crease and a little on your lower lash line.  STEP 11: Apply mascara. Allie uses L'Oréal Paris Voluminous X Fiber Mascara & Black Primer. Apply brown mascara on your lower lashes to make the look more subtle, but still defined.  STEP 12: Using Maybelline Master Chrome Highlighter in Molten Gold, apply on the high points of your face, down the center of your nose, Cupid’s bow, a little above your brows and on the inner corner of your eyes. With whatever is left on your brush, apply it right under your brows. STEP 13: Take L'Oréal Colour Riche Shine Glossy Lipstick in Luminous Coral and apply a coat to your lips to finish.
