What makes a rubber mask unique is that it starts out like any paste or gel base, and then it hardens into a thick, rubbery mask that can be peeled off the face. Below, find five rubber masks we’ll be using religiously.

Dr. Jart Clear Skin Lover

This is a two-step rubber mask procedure that starts with a skin nourisher and then the mask application – which should be left on for 20 minutes to solidify while you relax.

Shangpree Rubber Mask

If a glistening appearance is more your style, this gold mask is the one for you. The mask rubberizes during use and works to add moisture and to the skin.

Bliss Mask-a-Peel

The goal of this vitamin C rubber mask is to even out skin tone. It contains high levels of antioxidants and seaweed extracts — ingredients known to make your skin feel refreshed and hydrated.

Erno Laszlo White Marble Rubber Mask

This rubber mask is chock full of licorice and lemon extract – additives that make the skin feel brighter. Mix the two packets together to create a rubberized peel, and strip it off after 20 minutes.

I Dew Care Disco Kitten

While this mask isn’t as thick and rubbery as the rest, it’s worth a mention if only for its social media fame. I Dew Care’s version of the K-beauty fave comes in a metallic rubbery paste that shines as bright as a disco ball. This refreshing mask can be applied in a thin or thick layer all over the face — and satisfyingly peeled off after 15 to 20 minutes.
