Nov 2, 2017

It’s a brand new month, which means a new round of products is making their way onto store shelves and into our makeup bags. These are the products Makeup.com’s editors can’t live without this November.

Essie Fashion Flares

Gray polish is my go-to (if that makes me basic, I don’t care), and this version feels special for the holiday season — it has just a hint of shimmer.

Vichy Mineral 89

This time of year, if I don’t load up on extra moisture, my skin gets flaky and my makeup looks less than cute. This gel-like hydrator seriously moisturizes yet feels like nothing, and it makes my foundation glide on even better.

Take Off My Face Mitty

Instead of going through multiple makeup wipes a day, I started using this little mitt to remove my makeup. It’s made of some sort of magical fabric that takes everything off in one swipe, and it makes me feel better about my carbon footprint.

Perricone MD No Makeup Eyeshadow

Applying this silky primer to my lids and under my eyes helps me look awake when I definitely am not.

Mario Badescu A.H.A. Botanical Body Soap

This body wash keeps my skin in check when the weather starts to change — plus, it smells good and doesn't break the bank.

YSL Touche Eclat Blur Perfector

I love this blur perfector because it evens out my skin tone and keeps me looking refreshed throughout the day.

Maybelline Lash Sensation Mascara

This mascara is certainly my go-to affordable mascara — it helps thicken my lashes, and the payoff is great.

Aesop Parsley Seed Serum

I love to use this after I take a shower when my skin is feeling dry. It always makes my face feel instantly more moisturized and hydrated.

Urban Decay Primer Potion

If I am going out and feel my eye look needs that extra boost, this primer really helps elevate and saturate the shadows I use!

NYX Professional Makeup Matte Lipstick in Dark Era

It is the perfect shade for those who are dipping their toes in the dark lipstick trend for the first time — a mix between plum and oxblood lip colors. I call it my Jane Lane lipstick because I originally bought it for my Halloween costume, but it has quickly become my new go-to.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish in Cabernet With Bae

If you're looking for a good cab without the hangover, this is it. It pairs well with over-sized sweaters — like that marigold one you've been eyeing for awhile. Treat yo self.

Kiehl’s Crème de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter

Winter is coming. It is never too early to start bathing in all of the body creams to prep your skin for what’s to come. This formula is like all of the rich body butters out there in one great place. I highly recommend stocking up while you can because it’s limited edition.

IT Cosmetics Heavenly Complexion Brush #7

You'll find me obsessing over IT Cosmetics practically all the time, but this complexion brush in particular has my heart. I use the large end of the brush to apply my foundation and the small end to apply my concealer. It's super convenient, ideal for when you're in a rush (me — every day) and will leave you with the perfect airbrushed finish.

NYX Liquid Suede Metallic Matte

I'm always on the hunt for an awesome liquid matte, and I managed to get my hands on the NYX Liquid Suede Metallic Matte in Buzzkill, which is a creamy, metallic magenta. I love this shade because it's not too bright, which makes it a great color to match my fall wardrobe.

Kiehl's Daily Reviving Concentrate

In last month's roundup, I gushed about my go-to nightly serum and this month I feel like it's necessary to include my morning serum: the Kiehl's Daily Reviving Concentrate. Its scent is an interesting citrusy-ginger mix, and I'm obsessed with how radiant this serum makes my skin look prior to moisturizing and applying my makeup.

Disco Kitten Face Mask

Not only is this face mask ideal for the ‘gram, it also really works! I love using this before applying my makeup for night out — it gives my skin a brighter appearance and has it feeling fresh and plump for makeup application. Plus, it’s seriously disco silver, and for that reason alone, it really has me stayin’ alive.

Lancôme Miel En Mousse Cleanser

This glorious honey-infused facial cleanser has been my go-to for washing my face before bed. It’s super soothing but still refreshing enough to plump up my skin and keep it hydrated until morning.

NYX Professional Makeup Duo Chromatic Illuminating Powder

It’s no surprise that this highlighter has gotten so many great reviews in the NYX community. This stuff was perfect for some extra sparkle during Halloween — but also serves as an extra special highlight for a night out. I can’t stop, and won’t stop wearing this one.

NYX Professional Makeup Earth Palette
I'm officially obsessed with this eyeshadow palette. The color story is on point, and the quality of the shadows make it worth the money. It's also super portable and has a huge mirror that I use whenever I have to do my makeup on the go.

La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water
I have an obsession with facial sprays and I'm not afraid to admit it. Whether they really do anything or not, I love to spray a fine mist across my face whenever my skin feels thirsty throughout the day. It also feels super fancy so that's definitely a huge plus.

Cle de Peau Liquid Liner
This liner is one of my holy grail products — I can achieve a perfect wing in 30 seconds or less and tightline my eyes without slip ups. It's all in the brush and the formula — the brush tip gives me lots of control, and the inky black color never lets me down.
