The Royal Baby Is Here and So Is an Essie Collection to Celebrate

Turn on the news! Call your friends and family! Buy a cake! Meghan Markle just had her baby and in tandem, CVS Beauty did too — in the form of the Essie Royal Baby Collection. As you prepare to indulge in all of the baby content in existence via the Internet, why notpaint your nails in a celebratory shade? The CVS exclusive collection includes a set of 15 curated shades of blue and pink meant to celebrate the birth of the newest lil royal (or, perhaps the newest little royal in your life).

With the official news about Markle’s baby boy, it makes sense that there are already nail looks popping up on the Internet sporting a blue-themed mani. One of the looks we can’t get enough of is by Chriselle Lim. The influencer guessed the gender of Markle’s baby back in April (!?) and shared it in the form of a nail look on her Instagram page. Somehow, some way, she was right! The blue-toned mani is on-trend in more ways than one. Not only will you be celebrating the birth of Markle’s baby boy if you DIY, but you’ll also be rocking an Insta-ready monochrome nail look.

To recreate the nail look at home, the shades you’ll need include: Butler Please, Pret-a-Surfer, Bikini so Teeny, Find Me an Oasis and Urban Jungle. It’s certainly DIY-able, but you could also bring a photo with you to the salon if you want it extra-perfect.
