If you asked us to count the number of eye shadow palettes we’re obsessed with, we’d ask you to clear your schedule. So, you can only image our angst when we had to narrow down our list to just five. But we chose the best darn five you could ever lay your eyes on (or lay on your eyes!). Get ready to swoon!

Eye Shadow Palettes

1. Urban Decay Naked Smoky

This one is a no-brainer! If you need to land the smokiest of smoky eyes, look no further than the Naked Smoky. But, this pretty palette is no one-trick pony! It’s loaded with ALL the essentials you need to go neutral, matte, sparkly or deep and dark.

2. Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette in Nude

It’s obvious that we love pink. So, it’s only natural that we mention the best palette out there to get you that beautiful “blushed” look — for when a plain old neutral shade just isn’t cuttin’ it.

3. Lancôme Color Design 5 Pan Eyeshadow Palette

Okay, so we can’t pinpoint just ONE of these, but that’s because there are dozens of these five-shadow palettes and we’re impressed by each and every shade they contain! Take from us, you’ve got some serious options with these bad boys: autumn plum, midnight blue, intense amethyst, bright coral. We could go on and on. Really.

4. L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche La Palette Nude

THE palette of all nude palettes (it’s even in the name so you don’t forget!) — is all you need to master the art of nude eye shadow. We love our razzle-dazzle and full- on shimmery shadows, but sometimes you have to tone it down a notch or two and rock a neutral eye like it’s no one’s business.

5. YSL Couture Variation Palette in Tuxedo

The newest addition to our shadow palette list was inspired by the fabrics in the Yves Saint Laurent creative studio in Paris! The rich and shimmery shades make it ideal for fall weather. But we say, the heck with it, wear it all year round!
