The femme fatale is known for mystery and seduction. Part vixen, part vivacious, her killer curves remind us of the sumptuous scenes in Italian cinema and film noir. She’s beguiling and captivating — and you never truly know what she’s thinking.

Femme Fatale

The dark allure of this leading lady is all about the eyes. Her heavily lined lids are as bold as her demeanor. No shrinking violet, this beauty isn’t too timid to pair them with wine-stained lips.

Who Should Recreate It

Femme fatale-inspired beauty is for the woman looking for a generous dose of mystery and intrigue with her glamour. She’s not intimidated by a bold look, and she’s never met a liquid liner she didn't like.

How to Get the Look

The sultry cat eye is the center of this look. Use a thick, black liquid liner on top and bottom, extending up and past the outside of the eye with a heavy wing to create an almond shape. Use something dramatic, like Lancôme Paris Artliner in Noir or NYX Cosmetics Super Fat Eye Marker.

Continue the almond shape with grey-blue or a brown-black eyeshadow; YSL Couture Palette in Collector Fetiche has both. Layer up mascara on the outer lashes (try L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Butterfly Intenza Waterproof Mascara), and fill in the brows. The Urban Decay Brow Box has everything you'll need!

Finish off with lips in either a frosty gloss, like Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Gloss in Sandstone Shimmer, or, if you dare, a wine-red stain, like Giorgio Armani Beauty Lip Maestro in Dark Velvet.
