If there’s one unavoidable fact about summer, it’s that at some point people will see your feet. For that reason, it's most definitely the time to consider the state of your toes, heels and everything in between, and to act accordingly. After all, dry, cracked, dirty feet are not attractive. Fortunately, this easy-to-make, inexpensive scrub will work wonders.
The scrub is comprised of pumpkin, which has natural enzymes that make it a great exfoliant. The caffeine in the ground coffee beans improves blood circulation.
Here is how to make the foot scrub:
1/4 cup canned pumpkin puree
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of either almond or olive oil
1 tablespoon ground coffee beans
The juice of half a lemon
Mix all the ingredients in a big bowl, and then scrub your legs and feet. Rinse the mix off with warm water, and pat dry.
Any excess can be stored for up to a few days in a glass jar in the refrigerator.
