Halo Brows are Here and We Think You’ll Have Feelings About Them

Don’t get us wrong: We love perfect-looking brows, and we have a growing stash of eyebrow tools and products to prove it. But as we all know, the term “perfect,” is relative and for some, sporting fishtail brows or even festive Christmas Tree Brows is just as normal as our defined, shaped brows. If one thing’s for certain, unique brow trends stir up a whole lot more excitement on social media than standard eyebrows ever will. Since we know you’re itching to know what new eyebrow trend is taking over the ‘gram, start thinking of angel halos and imagine how that would translate into an eyebrow look. Into it?
Beauty vlogger and makeup artist Hannah Lyne was the first to coin the term “halo brows.” According to her first Instagram post sporting the look, Lyne and a friend were talking about the fishtail brow trend when they ended up coming up with the new brow look. In the photo, Lyne wears Sleek Makeup Vitality Foundation, Sosu by Suzanne Jackson Primark Dubai Lashes and NYX Professional Makeup Tame and Frame Brow Pomade to bring the halo brow to life. The makeup artist’s brows curve upwards in a at the end of her real brow to create a circular, halo-effect that wraps around to meet the end of her other brow. As our friends at POPSUGAR Beauty reported, the halo brow is also essentially a reverse unibrow. No matter which way you see it, we know you probably have mixed feelings — just know that you’re not alone.
