Recreate Halsey’s Glittery Festival Eye Makeup Look in 3 Easy Steps

As the first weekend of one of the biggest music festivals of the 2019 comes to a close, we’re still in awe at the stunning makeup and hair inspiration that came out of the event. Halsey, in particular, shone on stage during her performance of “Eastside” with R&B singer Khalid on Sunday night, thanks to the NYX Professional Makeup Glitter Goals Collection. Celebrity makeup artist Denika Bedrossian created the festival-ready look.

Ahead, Bedrossian gives us a quick and easy three-step tutorial for Halsey’s playful and colorful eye makeup look. It’s so simple you’ll want to steal it for all of your upcoming summer concerts.

How to Recreate Hasley’s Playful Music Festival Eye Makeup

Step 1: Apply the Base for Your Eyes

Start by laying down the base colors for the eyes with the NYX Professional Makeup Ultimate Shadow Palette in Brights” Fade the yellow and lime green shades into a two-tone blue by blending them out to create a gradation of color.

Step 2: Add the Glitter

To add sparkle and a pop of color, reach for the NYX Professional Makeup Glitter Goals Cream Pro Palette. Using NYX Professional Makeup Dual Silicone Applicator to help the product stick, pack the glitter pigment on top of your eyeshadow base. Use shade Number 8 from the palette over top of the yellow and Number 7 over the lime green. Then, using the shade “Glacier” from the NYX Professional Makeup Glitter Goals Cream Quad Palette, press Number 2 over the blue hue on your eyes.

Step 3: Mascara

To complete the colorful eye makeup look, layer on the NYX Professional Makeup Color Mascara in blue to both your top and bottom lashes.
