How amazing would it be if you could wake up every day with full, perfectly defined and shaped brows? With microblading, you can turn that dream into a reality. The beauty treatment is a semi-permanent tattoo procedure that uses hair-like strokes to create your desired brow look. Unfortunately, it can be costly and it doesn’t last forever (typically one to two years). The good news is that you can create the microbladed look at home for $11 and with minimal effort. Here, we’re breaking down a four-step guide to faking microbladed brows.

STEP 1: Brush Your Brows

Brush your brows upwards with a spoolie. This will help create a lifted appearance and let you see what empty spaces and sparse areas that you can fill in with your brow product.

STEP 2: Create Hair-Like Strokes

For a brow product, we’re loving the NYX Professional Makeup Lift & Snatch! Brow Tint Pen. It has a micro-brush tip that allows you to create buildable lines that look like hairs and comes in 10 smudge-resistant shades. Use it to fill in your brows with little flicks. As you’re applying, blend the product by brushing through your brows with a spoolie.

STEP 3: Add a Gel

If your brows still need some definition and hold, swipe on a clear brow gel. This will help keep your brows in place.

STEP 4: Apply Concealer

Finish your brow look by shaping underneath your brow with concealer. If you have trouble perfecting your brows, you can also apply concealer before step two to give you a guide for how to shape them.
