It's been quite a year for Giorgio Armani: The designer's spring 2011 runway show—a collection done entirely in midnight blue—received some of the best reviews of his career, Lady Gaga tapped him to design the costumes for her 2011 "Monster Ball" tour, and Megan Fox came on board at the face of Armani Beauty. So, how does a brand on such a high roll round out the year? Why, by launching a YouTube channel, of course!
The GiorgioArmaniBeauty channel went live last week and includes the first video footage (shown above) of Megan Fox as the face of the cosmetics line. Makeup artist Linda Cantello worked with Megan on the shoot, and I like that she chose to show the star in softer makeup than we're used to seeing on her. Megan's still every bit as sexy, but by playing up just one feature—be it her eyes, brows, or lips—and leaving the rest of the face natural, Linda allows her natural striking beauty to come through.
When you're done ogling Megan's sultry ad, check out the rest of the content on the channel, which includes makeup how-to's and behind-the-scenes footage from the making of some of their best fragrance ads. Look for lots more exciting content to be added starting in 2011—and in the meantime, if you want to copy the sizzling Hollywood red mouth that Megan is wearing in the above video, try her favorite Armani lipstick shade, Rouge d’Armani Lipstick in Red No. 400.
