Our “Better Together” series highlights surprising ways two products become — you guessed it — even better when you use them together.

IT Cosmetics is a goldmine for products that will make your skin look flawless. The brand is known for the way they fuse makeup and skincare and ensure that their products are full of skin-loving ingredients that will leave your skin looking its absolute best. And since we’re clearly obsessed with all of them (as we’ve gushed about before), we’re here to discuss the magic that happens when you combine two of IT’s products: Your Skin But Better CC Cream with SPF 50+ and the new (already super popular) Bye Bye Redness Correcting Cream.

There are many reasons IT’s CC Cream is so beloved, namely the fact that it’s a full-coverage foundation, sunscreen, serum, day cream (and more) packed into one. Since it’s a cult fave, it’s only right to build upon its greatness to make your skin look as flawless as possible using the brand’s new correcting cream. With the help of Jessica Ross, the Director of Education at IT Cosmetics, we learned how to pair these two products together.

“When applying the IT CC Cream, I love to start in the center of the face, and build out from the T-zone since typically, that is where you appear to need the most correcting. Using the larger side of the Complexion Perfection Brush, blend CC Cream outward making sure to give your skin the benefits of this 7 in 1 product,” explains Ross.

After applying the CC Cream, it’s time for the Bye Bye Redness Concealer. “Since Bye Bye Redness dries down to a powder, it can be used right on top of your CC Cream where redness, rosacea, or skin irritation is a concern,” says Ross. “I even love to use it on my eyelids to neutralize redness on my lids before I apply any eye shadows.”

“For best application, I like to use the small side of the Complexion Perfection Brush. A little bit goes a long way,” she says. “If you are using it to cover a larger area of redness, after dotting it on with the small side of the brush, flip your brush to the larger side to blend and let the brush continue to do all the work for you.”

Keep in mind that while the CC Cream comes in seven different shades for a wide range of complexions, the correcting cream currently only comes in three since it’s a very new product. Currently, the Transforming Natural Beige shade is for medium to tan complexions, Transforming Light Beige is for light to medium complexions and Transforming Porcelain Beige is for fair complexions.

Quick Steps to Get the Flawless Skin Look:

1. Start by using an IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush #7 to blend the formula into your skin. Start in the center of your face and build out from the T-zone, since that’s where many people need the most correcting.

2. Using the larger side of the Complexion Perfection Brush, blend the CC cream outward.

3. Use the Bye Bye Redness correcting cream on top of your CC cream using the small side of the Complexion Perfection Brush.

4. If you’re using the corrector to cover a large area of redness, dot it on the small side of the brush, flip your brush to the larger side to blend and let the brush do the work for you.
