Lancôme’s partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee began in 2010, and since then the brand has raised nearly three million dollars for the hospital. Through this partnership, Lancôme has had the opportunity to provide “moments of happiness” to patients and families undergoing treatment for terminal illness. One of the ways in which the brand raises the money is through its followers, and it all starts on social media. Here’s how you can get involved:
1. Take a picture that includes a heart.
2. Post to Twitter and Instagram with the hashtags #LancomeLovesStJude
From now through October 25, Lancôme will donate $1 for every photo containing a heart posted on Instagram or Twitter with the above hashtag (up to $20,000). But if posting on social isn’t your style, Lancôme will also donate $1 directly to St. Jude for every online or Lancôme counter purchase made through the October 21.
