If you love “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” as much as we do, you already know that her beauty and personal care routine is of the utmost importance — even though some 1950s beauty rituals are a bit different than today’s. (Goat milk facial anyone?) We had a chance to go behind the scenes at a recent event with the “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” cast and Prime Video at Prime Experience to find out what steps and products we can use to recreate a 50s Maisel-inspired look. #primeexperience
STEP 2:Using Dermablend Flawless Creator Foundation, start by shaking the bottle and then dispense one to four drops of Flawless Creator onto a makeup brush, sponge, or your fingers and apply all over face. For additional coverage, add more drops.
STEP 3:Pat on setting powder generously over makeup and set for two minutes. Buff off.
STEP 4: After shaking bottle, dispense one-to-two drops of Glow Creator onto finger, brush, or sponge before blending onto cheekbones and eyelids.
STEP 5:This red lipstick is great for both lips and blush to provide a monochromatic look that will bring the 1950s look into 2018.
STEP 6:After applying the red lipstick, apply a small amount of it to the back of your hand and rub in a circular motion with your finger. Once pliable, tap your finger onto your cheekbones and buff color for an evenly flushed blush look — find out more about this red lipstick hack here.
