It’s no secret celebs spend big bucks to look amazing, but we wondered what real women (with real budgets) do to stay wrinkle and zit-free at home. These six ladies were kind enough to indulge us—here are their secrets.

Sally Lauckner, 25

Morning Regimen: “In the morning, I wash my face with St. Ives Apricot Scrub. I love that it feels gritty because I imagine my pores getting squeaky clean. Next I use Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Puff Rollerballto help my eyes feel refreshed and to zap puffiness. I actually keep this in the fridge because I read somewhere that when an eye product is cold, it's super refreshing. Then I use a light moisturizer with SPF, either Clean and Clear Pore Perfecting Moisturizer (I am obsessed with the clean smell) or a tinted moisturizer like Korres Watermelon Lightweight Tinted Moisturizer with SPF. I love it because it's like sunscreen, concealer, and moisturizer in one and it doesn't feel heavy or cakey. On weekends I sometimes spritz on The Body Shop Face Mist with Vitamin E throughout the day. I love, love, love how refreshing it is.” Evening Regimen: “At night, I remove makeup with Sensai Gentle Make-Up Remover for Eye and Lip. This is my absolute favorite makeup remover; it's so gentle that I once accidentally squirted a bunch of it into my eye and it didn't even sting. Then I wash my face with the same face wash from the morning. A few times a week, I also use Lancôme Tonique Radiance Clarifying toner. If my skin feels or looks dry, I use moisturizer at night like St. Ives Mineral Moisturizer, mostly because I love the smell. It's also a lot thicker than the one I use during the day, so it’s great for treating any dry patches at night. I also always use eye cream at night; a favorite is Lancôme Secret De Vie Yeux.” Favorite Skin Trick: “I splash my face with very cold water because I read that it tightens up your pores. This is probably a myth but it feels like it works so I do it anyway!” Skin Secret Weapon: “I like to wash my face with Fresh Umbrian Clay Treatment Bar a couple times a week. I hate the smell, but my skin looks tighter and feels extra soft. You can wash your face with this product or use it as a mask.” Words of Skin Wisdom: “Don't touch your face too much. We touch keyboards, elevator buttons, door handles all day long and the thought of pressing my face against those things icks me out. I swear my skin is clear, mostly because I don't touch it during the day. If you must touch your face, wash your hands first!” Alysha Cassis-Shaw, 36 Morning Regimen: “I wash my face with Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Oil Face Wash then I apply Aveeno Postively Radiant Daily moisturizer. The cleanser keeps my face from looking too oily.” Evening Regimen: “I just wash my face with soap and water. I skip moisturizer at night as I like to go to bed feeling super clean, and dry.” Favorite Skin Trick: "I use Vaseline on my eyelids for a little shimmer and brightness." Skin Secret Weapon: “If I have a pimple, I dab it with Burt's Bees Tea Tree Blemish Stick.  When I wake up, it is miraculously gone!” Words of Skin Wisdom: “Lipstick, eye shadow, all of that is great, but don't use makeup as a daily crutch. Let your skin breathe, and go for a natural look unless you are going out at night. Too much makeup all of time really hides your natural beauty.”

Anne Jansen, 31

Morning Regimen: “I use Noxzema face wash in the shower in the morning. I take any remaining eye makeup off with Clinique Rinse-Off Eye Makeup Solvent and a Q-tip. My sister and I have been using it since we started wearing makeup. We can always count on our mom to keep us fully stocked year-round—she always puts a bottle in our stockings and Easter baskets (yes, I'm 31). I skip sunscreen and moisturizer because my fave foundation, Lancôme Teint Miracle, has SPF 15 and is very hydrating. I love it because it makes my skin look so smooth and even.” Evening Regimen: “All I do at night is take off my makeup with a Noxzema or an OXY pad. Living in New York City makes my face dirty and I feel like this is the best (OK, fastest) way to get the dirt and grime from the day off.” Favorite Skin Trick: “To drink a lot of water. My skin looks dehydrated when I don't have enough water. I read this in a magazine. It changed my life.” Skin Secret Weapon: “Getting enough sleep. I aim for eight hours but only get it every other night due to dog-walking duties. Sometimes on the weekend I catch up with like 10 hours!” Words of Skin Wisdom: “Less is more. You don't need a million expensive products. Wash your face, use makeup with SPF in it, get plenty of rest, and relax!”

Sabel, 33

Morning Regimen: “I wash my face while in the shower. I use Go Clear Clarifying Cleanser AM/PM  pretty much every other day. It has beads that exfoliate, but it's not super-harsh. My skin feels really soft after I use it. On the other days, I use Kimberly Sayer Gentle Face Cleanser from Whole Foods. Her products are all gentle and organic, and this cleanser has lavender so it has a really nice scent. It's so light and gentle that it feels like it's not doing much, but it really does clean and remove makeup. Then I use Origins Youthtopia moisturizer. I don't know what's in it but it gives me a nice glow.” Evening Regimen: “At night I just want to do something quick so I can get in bed. I apply Origins High Potency Night A Mins—they’re easy and disposable. I also use Kimberly Sayer Cellular Extract Eye Lift Gel because I don't want crow’s feet. I put it on my forehead too, because it's super moisturizing, and I'm trying to not get more forehead lines.” Skin Secret Weapon: “I use a Rosewater spray to freshen up. I feel like it brightens up my face, and gives a little glow.” Words of Skin Wisdom: “Use moisturizer everyday! My mother never used moisturizer or told me to, and I found out the hard way at age 27 when I noticed my laugh lines and forehead lines!”

Janell Hickman, 25

Morning Regimen: “My morning routine is pretty simple. I am obsessed with my Clarisonic Mia (I have the cute little pink one) partnered with my Aveeno Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser. Oddly enough, I used to only rinse my face with water in the a.m. until facialist Christine Chin told me that was the equivalent of brushing your teeth without toothpaste. I then either use Doctor T's Supergoop Save Face Serum SPF 30 or Neutrogena Visibly Even Daily Moisturizer SPF 30. I love both because they protect my face without making me feel greasy or smelling too sunscreen like.” Evening Regimen: “My evening routine is a bit more complicated. Once again I used my Clarisonic + Aveeno combo. If my skin feels a bit oily, I will swap out the Aveeno for Clinique's Wash Away Gel Cleanser. I then prep my skin with Le Mieux's Vita-C Clear Skin Pads to wipe away any excess oil, dirt and grime. I credit this product with my glow, it has definitely evened out my skin tone in less than 30 days. After that I follow with Super C by Dr. Nicholas Perricone First Blush which also has erased any dark-spots or hyperpigmentation. To moisturize, I LOVE Philosophy's Hope In a Jar since it's light enough that my face doesn't feel soaked but serious enough for bedtime. I always use an under eye product after a long day. My current favorite is RoC Retinol Correxion Eye Cream paired with the Clarsonic Opal for immediate results. If I have a budding blackhead or whitehead, I spot treat with Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Treatment Gel.” Favorite Skin Trick: “Honestly, It's getting rest. I don't really play around with getting sleep and notice the difference in my skin.” Skin Secret Weapon: “I also try to use a mask one to two times per week to extract impurities and fight off breakouts. I really love mark. Shine Fighter Oil-Control mask or ONE Nighy Nite Tonic (a super cheap paper mask) for a quick pick-me up. My mother and I used to do a weekly facial together so the habit carried over. Words of Skin Wisdom: “Your face is the first thing someone sees when they meet you so it's super important to literally put your best face forward. There is no need to spend a ton of money on expensive products because there are great drugstore brands that work just as well. The key is figuring out what your skin type is. If something doesn't work, keep trying out other products until you find something that does.” What is your skin secret weapon?
