Leave it to the stunning Scarlett Johansson to make us green with envy—and not just because of her trademark killer curves. At Moët & Chandon's 250th anniversary party in Moscow, she wowed in a forest green Emilio Pucci dress with eye shadow to match. Makeup artist Dana Chasen Thomases tells us how to create the emerald effect. Step 1: Apply concealer and foundation to match your skin. Step 2: Sweep a matte peach-toned blush, like YSL Blush Radiance No2, to the apples of your cheeks, blending upward and outward toward your hairline. Step 3: Apply a flesh-toned shadow to your eyes from the creases to the brows in order to even out your skin tone. Try: Maybelline ExpertWear Eyeshadow Trio in Chocolate Mousse (one of the three shades should suit your skin tone). Step 4: Apply a shimmery light peach eye shadow to the creases to make your eyes pop. Try: Lancôme Color Design Eyeshadow in Kitten Heel. Step 5: Apply a shimmery dark green shadow, like Lancôme Color Design Eyeshadow in The Fab Life, to your eyelids, starting at your lashes and blending up into the creases. Begin the application at the outside of the lids blending in, gradually getting lighter toward the inner corners of your eyes. Step 6: Apply black cream eyeliner, like MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack, along your top lash lines. To line lower lashes, use a small brush to smudge the cream liner just underneath the lashes where the hairs attach to your skin, blending well. Step 7: Apply a waterproof black eyeliner pencil to the inner rims of both your lower and upper lash lines. Try: Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Waterproof Liner in 1. It’s important to apply the product to the inside of your eyes (the waterlines) on the tops and bottoms to keep the liner from wearing off. Make sure you also line the inside corner of your eyes to get this look. Step 8: Using a cotton swab and non-oily eye makeup remover, clean up any dark eye shadow that has fallen underneath your eyes. Step 9: Curl your lashes and apply a generous amount of black mascara to both top and bottom lashes. Try:  L’Oréal Voluminous Original Mascara. Step 10: Finish with a peach lip gloss that's shiny but not glittery. Try: Nars Lip Gloss in Giza if your skin tone is fair to medium or YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis à Lèvres Glossy Stain in 7 Corail Aquatique if you're olive- to darker-skinned.
