Like silicone-based foundations, water-based formulas are suitable for a wide array of skin types and concerns. “They work well for those with dry or combination skin, as they tend to be more natural-looking and can help hydrate the skin,” Spickard says. If you initially burn, then tan, that’s a good sign that you have a neutral undertone.
