18 Makeup Products Our Editors Are Adding to Their Carts This November

It’s a brand new month, which means a new round of products is making their way onto store shelves and into our makeup bags. These are the products Makeup.com’s editors can’t live without this November.

Dawn, Editorial Director

Skinceuticals Custom D.O.S.E

When it comes to skin care products, I’m obsessive about ingredients. If a formula doesn’t have a ton of highly efficacious actives, I’m not interested. Well, with this new custom serum from Skinceuticals, I was able to work with my dermatologist to get exactly what I wanted — a triple dose of retinol, brightening ingredients and a moisturizing base — and I got to feel like I was living my cosmetic chemist dream.

Lancôme Le Monochromatique in Soiree

At the Makeup.com office, we’re all obsessed with this product — so much so we created a tutorial using it. Personally, I love the texture — a creamy powder so I don’t have to choose between one or the other. I plan to use this shade on my cheeks all winter.

Make Dew Pot in Lily

Speaking of fabulous multitaskers, this little pot is my go-to for a glossy pink look — whether on lips, cheeks or even eyes. It’s moisturizing and super dewy yet the color lasts all day.

Essie Lady Like

I've always had an affinity for purple shades, so all the nude polishes out there that leaned towards beige or pink never appealed to me. I chose this one on a whim at the nail salon, and the neutral soft mauve is a dream come true. I'm excited for it to look good in all of my upcoming Thanksgiving Instagram pictures.

Nonie of Beverly Hills SPF 15 AHA Body Moisturizer

I was looking for a moisturizer with SPF that came in a recyclable glass bottle, and this inexpensive one caught my eye on Amazon. It's a physical sunscreen so it takes some rubbing in to avoid a white cast, but it feels moisturizing, leaves a light satin finish and has a pleasant citrus scent.

Lancôme Brow Densify Powder-to-Cream in Dark Brown

I wanted a less messy brow product after my pomade ran out, and I'm so glad I found this. It's impossible to deposit too much, so this product makes creating naturally bold brows super fast and simple.

L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche Matte Lip Liner

I love the lip liner colors in this line, and it stays perfectly in place throughout the day. I like to wear this either under a lipstick or by itself all over my lips — either way, it makes for a luscious finish.

Avene Eau Thermal Spring Water

This refreshing spray is much needed on humid NYC days, and I keep it with me at all times. I love to spritz it onto my face if my skin begins to feel a little dry, and I especially love that it sets my makeup nicely.

Urban Decay Naked Illuminated in Luminous

This highlighter gives off a gorgeous subtle glow with the smallest amount of product, and it really illuminates my face as a whole. I love to wear this on my cheekbones and a little down my nose for a dewy finish.

Lancôme Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Serum

I’ve heard beauty lovers rave about this serum before, but I never had a chance to get my hands on it. Finally, I did, and even though it’s all gone (RIP to the best skincare sample ever) I’m still trying to scrape every last remnant of serum out. After using it for just one week, I found that my complexion was brighter, smoother and healthier-looking (the five-star reviews are seriously true). I can’t wait to get my hands on a bigger bottle.

Verb Ghost Oil

As someone with dry hair that’s prone to frizziness, I’m always on the hunt for hair products that will tame and control my hair, fast. I’ve been using this oil on my hair when it’s damp after the shower and I’ve found that it gives my hair shine, helps to detangle and gives it moisture. I also use it before heat styling and after for some shine! I highly recommend it as a multipurpose hair savior.

Antonym Baked Highlighting Blush in Lily

The blush that I’ve been using for weeks now is this new formula from Antonym. I love it because it’s a highlighting blush, meaning it gives your skin radiance and color. I apply just a little for a super-natural finish, but you can build it up for a full-coverage look, too.

Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink in Protector

Fall weather means vampy lips nearly everyday, and since I’ve tried pretty much every dark lippie ever made, it was a no brainer to reach for this one when it first came out. And I have to say, out of all of those dark lipsticks I’ve tried, this one is now at the top of the list. It’s the perfect burgundy liquid lip you’ve always wanted because it’s pigmented, doesn’t feel too drying, and it literally does not budge no matter what.

Summer Fridays Overtime Mask

If you’re looking for the ultimate fall skincare mask, this is for you. Not only does it smell like fall (PSL loves, you’ll swoon), it really does a great job at making your skin feel super refreshed and rejuvenated with just one use. I’ve been loving this mask as a weekly routine this season to really get me into the spirit, and you will too.

Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette

Ah, the newest Naked palette has totally captured my heart. As a big supporter of burgundy, maroon and reddish shadows, Cherry has become a part of my new favorite fall and holiday eyeshadow routine. The narrative of this palette takes you through light cherry inspired shades to deeper browns, dark cherry and black cherry from one beautiful pan to the next, and it’s spot on for my everyday day-to-night routine, no matter what kind of cherry I’m feeling.

Pat McGrath Mthrship Sublime Bronze Temptation Eyeshadow Palette

This warm, shimmery palette is the kind of product makeup junkies go wild for. And by makeup junkies, I mean me. It’s intensely pigmented, is the perfect color palette for fall and comes in packaging that’s nearly too pretty to touch. I’m in love with this palette and can’t wait to use it for all of my holiday party beats.

Urban Decay All Nighter Cherry-Scented Setting Spray

As a lover of all things Urban Decay All Nighter, the cherry scented version was a welcome addition to my collection. The cherry scent is pleasant and not overwhelming while still delivering the refreshed feeling All Nighter is known for. It also comes in a travel size bottle, which makes the ideal product for a mid-day spritz.

Wax Buffalo Candle in Blood Orange

From the moment I smelled this candle, I knew I wanted one in every room. I love that it’s bright and citrusy with a hint of sugar underneath. It’s perfect for your desk or bedroom, but if you want it to take up an entire space, I’d recommend snagging two.

Maybelline Lemonade Craze Palette

I’m currently loving Lemonade Craze, simply because of its amazing pigment and shades that I like to wear for day and night. My favorites are the bronzey-browns of this palette and the red and yellow — so fall and so fun to mix and match.

Beauty Blender Bounce Liquid Foundation

I’m loving this foundation this month because it’s full coverage and gives an amazing matte look, but it’s not drying on my skin at all. It also does wonders hiding any blemishes and discoloration.

NYX Professional Makeup Holographic Halo Sculpting Highlighting Brush

Lately, I’ve actually been using this for as my foundation brush when I’m looking for a soft, no-makeup makeup finish. It's perfect for targeting areas on my face that need more coverage as well because it really builds up the product nicely if you need it.
