Cloud Eye Makeup Is Taking Over Our Insta Feeds and We’re Not Mad About It

The world of Instagram makeup is a unique one, to say the least. It’s blessed us with dripping eyebrows, garden brows, faux freckles and a whole lot of other unforgettable beauty looks deserving of a news post of their own. Today, we’re here to spotlight a new eye makeup trend that won’t stop appearing on our feeds: cloudy eye makeup. It’s the sort of magical makeup look you’d probably come across on Reddit and give an instant upvote for expertise and creativity. As you can probably already guess, makeup artists and influencers pull out all the stops to make the weather-inspired look look as legit as possible: clouds, stars and sky included.

One of our favorite beauty influencers who crushed the look was NikkieTutorials. She posted a tutorial of the “Cloud 9” eye makeup look and her audience (obviously) loved it. “I think this is one of my most favorite looks I’ve ever created,” writes Nikki in the caption under her YouTube tutorial. Even if you wouldn’t wear these clouds on your eyes, we think you’ll agree that the teal shades in this look are colors we’re looking to add to our beauty stash immediately. “How is she so quick with this? I’d use two weeks to blend that well,” comments samira _ and we can’t help but agree.
