Opt for Thin Layers When Applying Your Polish

Applying thin layers of nail polish will make it take less time to dry than it would if you applied one really thick coat. The application process takes longer this way, but the drying time is significantly shorter! Don't forget to apply two coats of nail polish to extend the longevity of your manucure and prevent chipping. 

Use a Quick-Dry Nail Polish

Using a quick-dry nail polish or a quick-dry top coat will make the drying process a lot faster than normal! Essie's speed setter is our favourite, it dries in under a minute and still provide a high shine finish.

Use a Blow Dryer

Blowing cool air from your blow dryer for 2 to 3 minutes will help speed up drying time. Just make sure to hold the blow dryer a good 12 inches away from your nails to avoid damaging your nail polish!

Dip Your Nails in Cold Water

Dipping your fingers in a bowl of ice cold water for 1 to 2 minutes will harden the nail polish and therefore make it dry quickly. This method works well, but can be a little uncomfortable!

Use Cooking Spray

Using a cooking spray, like Pam, will help to set your polish in just a matter of minutes. Just make sure to wash your hands after to get rid of any greasy residue!
