How to Warm Up Your Complexion With Maybelline Fit Me Blush

Our “Better Together” series highlights surprising ways two products become — you guessed it — even better when you use them together.

Choosing the perfect makeup product for your skin tone is no easy feat. Take blush, for example. There might be a bold shade you have fun with for the ‘gram, or maybe even a liquid lipstickthat looks fierce AF on your cheeks, but when it comes to finding the perfect natural shade for your skin tone, there is some research that needs to be done before you just throw any shade onto your cheeks. Once you discover that one color match that outshines them all (check out this handy guide for reference), you’ll have an easier time pinpointing your ideal shade in the aisle of your local drugstore. To make your quest even easier, Maybelline launched Fit Me Blush: 10 shades of natural, fade-free color, meant for applying with a fluffy brush brush.

So if you’re looking for a hassle-free way to warm up your complexion, we recommend following the below steps:

What You’ll Need:

Your shade of Maybelline Fit Me Blush

A blush brush, like NYX Professional Makeup Pro Dual Fiber Powder Brush

How It’s Done:

STEP 1: Go about your normal makeup routine. After applying foundation, concealer, setting powder and bronzer, go ahead and grab your blush and brush.

STEP 2: Use your fluffy blush to lightly pick up blush and then sweep it onto your cheekbones upwards towards your temples. To identify your cheekbones, smile with a closed mouth. Build up the color as necessary and follow with highlighter.
