3 Urban Decay Halloween Makeup Ideas

Halloween is quickly approaching and if you still don't have a costume ready, don't worry - Urban Decay has got you covered! Their artist in residence, Amanda Rodriguez has 3 amazing Halloween makeup tutorials for you! No matter your skill level, there is a look for you and the best part is that all of the looks are done with everyday makeupso you can repurpose your Halloween makeup and wear it for other looks too!

Color Junkie

The first look is the "Color Junkie". I think this look is so fun and it's perfect for beginners or those with less artistry experience as it doesn't need to be precise to look amazing. It's also a great last-minute costume as you can wear anything with it. Bright colours are key to this look and Amanda uses a variety of 24/7 Glide-On Pencils (“Chaos”, “Woodstock”, “Freak”, “Deep End” and “Psychedelic Sister”), Eyeshadows (“Chaos, “Woodstock”, “Narcotic”, “Deep End”, “Freelove”, “1985”, “SWF”, “Flash”, “Kush”, and “Spike”), and Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliners (“Midnight Cowboy”, Glamrock”, and “Spandex”) to achieve this vivid look. The mix of mediums gives the look definition and the final result is perfectly pigmented. The glitter really gives it something extra too, in my opinion and coordinates perfectly with the bold lip. You can see exactly how get this look in Amanda's tutorial:

Blackout Skull

The second look is a little more intricate but still quite doable. The "Blackout Skull" is a more traditional Halloween look and is much more comfortable than wearing a mask all night. This would look perfect with a skeleton costume but would also look great with an all black outfit too! Everything you need for this look can be repurposed into creating a smoky eye for a night with your friends for the remainder of the year. Bold eyeshadows like "Blackout" and "Secret Service" are key to creating this look. TheRazor Sharp Liquid Eyeliner is perfect too for creating precise lines. I think this spooky look is still sexy and is sure to be a hit at any Halloween party! See exactly how to steal Amanda's look:

Zodiac Swan

The final look is the most complex but definitely worth the extra effort! The “Zodiac Swan” is dark yet feminine. The look would pair perfectly with an all black outfit and feather boa.  The intense, metallic winged liner is going to look amazing on everyone! See how Amanda created this look and learn how to master her feathering technique in the tutorial:

Which look are you going to try this Halloween? I am personally going to try the Blackout Skull!
