24 Beauty Products to Buy This February— According to Our Editors

It’s a brand new month, which means a new round of products is making their way onto store shelves and into our makeup bags. These are the products Makeup.com’s editors can’t live without this February.

Maybelline The City Kits in Urban Light

This palette is a souped up version of a Maybelline City palette with a delightful mix of sheer, shimmery pastel powders. They’re gorgeous as shadows but also work beautifully as rainbow highlighter, giving me unicorn vibes.

Skinceuticals Discoloration Defense

I spend all winter blasting and lasering and wishing away my summer hyperpigmentation. After just a few weeks, this serum has done the work more successfully than everything I did last year combined. It has a blend of acids and anti-inflammatory ingredients that work together for seriously impressive results.

Diptyque Eau Rose Hair Mist

Of course I want my hair to smell like a bouquet of roses, and that’s exactly what this refreshing mist provides — just in time for V-Day.

Rituel de Fille Ember & Ash Eye Soot

I have been lining my lower lash line with reddish brown shadow or liner for years — it magically makes my dark circles less noticeable. I love the texture of this "Eye Soot" — kind of creamy, kind of powdery — and it’s the perfect color.

Histoires de Parfums This Is Not A Blue Bottle 1/.3

The packaging of this fragrance caught my attention first — the bold blue really stands out on the shelf. But I was truly sold at first smell. This makes for a great winter-into-spring scent with musky patchouli nicely balanced by rose, lead by the oddly clean feeling "bloody orange." My boyfriend "borrows" it on a regular basis.

L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Matte Lipstick in Matte-Traction

I recently rediscovered red lipstick, and love this shade is an alt to my favorite LP Colour Riche 402 Blake's Red. (Discontinued? Tear). It's matte, but the wear is smooth, and the shade 403 Matt-Traction Red is a rich, classy hue.

Bite Beauty Agave Balm

This agave balm has been a life-saver for my lips this winter. My lips feels immediately softer, and this product definitely gives me instant gratification.

Urban Decay Setting Spray in Chill

This spray definitely makes me feel more secure about my makeup before I go out — I never have to worry about anything smudging or rubbing off when I use this, which I love.

Essie Wicked

This is my go to nail polish shade this season; I love that it's dark without being a stark black.

NYX Professional Makeup Dewy Finish Makeup Setting Spray

This setting spray is a makeup bag must-have for humid climates — bookmark this buy for music festivals this spring. It helps give a natural dewy glow while keeping your bronzed makeup look in tact.

Essie Turquoise & Caicos

Essie polish names are always on point. This shade of sage-y aqua looks good on a variety of skin tones as you'll see from its many user and beauty editor reviews on the Essie website. I was already convinced, but when I tried it on with my new beachwear for an upcoming vacation, I was sold.

RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek in Paradise

With 12 hours of travel and connections each way ahead of me, I am attempting to pack minimally. One of my favorite products for traveling is RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek — made with organic ingredients like coconut oil, jojoba seed oil and shea butter. The creamy soft texture hydrates my lips and cheeks for an all-day natural beachy look.

Evelyn Iona Green Tea Primer

This cruelty-free, lightweight vegan primer is my go-to at the moment for its hydrating benefits and the way it makes my skin feel extra smooth before applying my makeup. It's made with Organic Green Tea and Avocado Oil, which offer reparative benefits for your skin.

Urban Decay x Kristen Leanne Daydream Eyeshadow Palette

I'm not a huge, eyeshadow-obsessed gal, which is why I love palettes that contain must-have neutrals. I'm loving this new Kristen Leanne palette because it contains just what I need for an everyday makeup look — plus its packaging is so, so pretty.

Winky Lux Flower Balm

In the winter, I'm not as inclined to wear matte lipstick in fear that I'll dehydrate my lips. Right now, I'm opting for tinted lip balm like this one from Winky Lux. Not only is it super cute, but it smells really good and goes on so smooth that I'm kind of addicted to applying it.

Urban Decay All Nighter Concealer

Confession: I’ve used the same waterproof concealer for years. And it wasn’t until I saw that Urban Decay released their new All Nighter Waterproof version that had me thinking about cheating on the concealer I’ve always known and loved. Well, spoiler alert, I did. And I probably won’t go back. I’ve been loving how well this wears throughout the day into night, its creamy consistency and its easy-to-use doe foot applicator.

NYX Professional Makeup Love You So Mochi Eyeshadow Palette

I love a good eyeshadow palette with a lot of champagney bronzey tones, and the I Love You So Mochi Sleek & Chic Palette hits the nail right on the head. I love using the lighter, softer brown tones for everyday and spicing up my lower lash line with the dark purple shade for nighttime.

Maison Margiela Lipstick On

Since February is the month of **loooove** I also wanted to include one of the literal perfume loves of my life — Maison Margiela Lipstick On. It’s a great scent because you can definitely wear it from the office to your date. Not to mention, it’s the perfect Valentine’s gift for the beauty lover in your life.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

I have this in both the big size for my desk and the mini size for my bag. I carry these little things with me everywhere, and they're perfect for cleaning up little smudges here and there or taking off all my makeup before an intense workout. They're seriously a must have — I wouldn't be able to survive without it!

Urban Decay Naked Ultra Nourishing Gloss in Beso

Ahhh! This gloss is the best thing that's ever happened to my mouth. It's non-sticky, comes in the prettiest shades and gives you that full on glossy look. Most days I can swap out my lip balm for this and my mouth doesn't notice the difference. It really is everything.

Rose Gold Slant Tweezerman Tweezers

These are probably everyone's fave tweezers, and I'm the latest beauty junkie to hop on the bandwagon. Ever since my eyebrow lady left I don't trust anyone to touch my precious brows and I've had to do unspeakable things since then (like do them myself!). These have saved my brows from so many struggle situations that I have to have one in every bag.

L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara in Cobalt Blue

The OG black color has been my go-to for years. People always ask if my lashes are fake, so when they released the Cobalt Blue color I had to try it. Even though my lashes are dark, the blue comes through nicely, and I get the same luscious length as I do in the black.

Maybelline New York Facestudio Blender 150

I typically use my fingers to apply all my makeup. (Scary, I know!) When I found this sponge I decided to give it a go. Not only did it save my fingers from the mess, but it feels amazing on my skin and blends my contour like a charm.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in Deep End

I had to find a shade to match my new blue mascara. It's easy to apply, stays on and adds a pop of color to my usual all-black look.
