If we ever need an excuse to cover our faces in glitter, Halloween is certainly one of them. What was once one of our favorite arts and crafts supplies as a kid is now one of our favorite makeup trends we see sprawling across our social beauty feeds, so we knew we wanted to recreate the look STAT. Ahead, find the coolest glitter eye makeup tutorial you can sport this Halloween to add a little sparkle to just about any costume — no matter who you go as (superheroes, animals or makeup icons alike).

STEP 1: Start by applying theNYX Professional Makeup Glitter Primer around your eyes, working it onto your lid up to your brow bone and underneath your eye.

STEP 2: Next, grab a generous amount of the NYX Professional Makeup Face & Body Glitter in Teal and apply it on the center of the lid from your lashes to your brows, bringing it onto your lower lash line as well.

STEP 3: Apply the NYX Professional Makeup Face & Body Glitter in Sapphire Blue onto both sides of the teal glitter, filling in your outer and inner corner — extending it out slightly beyond your brows.

STEP 4: Swipe away any excess glitter with tape or a makeup remover wipe, like Garnier Micellar Makeup Removing Towelettes.

STEP 5: Pat on more of the glitter primer to lock in the look.

STEP 6: For highlight, apply the NYX Professional Makeup Face & Body Glitter in Crystal onto the brow bone and into the inner corner of the eye.

STEP 7: For the face, apply the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte for an even complexion.

STEP 8: Fill in and complete your brows with the Lancôme Brow Shaping Powder Pencil and blend it out.

STEP 9: Highlight the face with the Urban Decay Disco Queen Holographic Highlight Powder across the cheekbones and down the nose.

STEP 10: Finish off the eyes with a coat of the Urban Decay Special Effects Colored Mascara in Vice. Apply more of the Crystal face and body glitter on the outer corners.

STEP 11:  To complete the look, apply the Maybelline Electric Shine Prismatic Holographic Lip Gloss in Magnetic Ice for a shiny, iridescent finish.
