If you struggle with making online beauty purchases for fear that the product won’t look good on you, YouTube wants to help. The media platform just introduced a new augmented reality feature that will allow viewers to virtually try on makeup using the YouTube app. Is your mind blown? — Because ours certainly is.

Coined AR Beauty Try-On, the virtual experience features a split-screen that will allow you to simultaneously test out makeup products — like a new lipstick shade or eyeshadow palette — while watching your favorite beauty vlogger’s tutorial. It uses your front-facing camera to show you the product, as well as the name, price and where to shop (goodbye $$$). The personalized beauty experience is only in the testing phase, but the news is still exciting for beauty tutorial bingers everywhere.

Virtual beauty try-on technology is all the buzz right now, with L'Oréal-owned beauty brands like NYX Professional Makeup, Maybelline New York and L'Oréal Paris already offering a similar feature on their websites. And as if that weren’t enough, L'Oréal also partnered with Amazon to allow users to either use their front-facing camera, upload a selfie or choose from a catalog of models with a similar skin tone to see what a particular lipstick shade would look like in real life. Gone are the days of having to guess whether that nude or bright red lippie is your perfect shade match.
