Perfect for the risk-taker in all of us, this palette is packed with high-octane hues for every bright makeup look under the sun. From a neon green smoky eye to blurred, blue lids, all your rainbow-colored dreams can come alive thanks to this palette.
Try This Look: To get started, try an emerald eye look on for size. Dust a forest-green shade on the lids and blend it out just past the crease. Also apply it along the lower lashline. Press a dark charcoal shade into the outer corners of the eyes. Press a soft glittery green on the middle of the lids. Line the eyes with black liner and you’re good to go.
Packed with 13 shades that range from navy and charcoal to lavender and taupe, this shadow palette will have you looking every bit the rockstar... even if you can’t carry a tune. Hey, fake it ’til you make it, right?
Try This Look: Try eye makeup fit for a rockstar by giving a jewel-toned smoky eye. Start with a lavender base that’s washed all over the lid (up to the crease) and along the lower lashline. Buff it all out gently so it creates a hazy, smoky effect. Intensify the look by adding a rich plum along the upper and lower lash lines with an angled shadow brush. Make the line thick and then smudge it outward so it blends nicely with the lavender base. Add some black eyeliner and mascara to finish the look.
L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche Pocket Palette Eye Shadow in Violet Amour
Purple eye shadow is (surprisingly) one of those hidden makeup gems you don’t know you need until you actually get around to trying it. The beauty of this shade is that it really works for every skin tone—you just need the right palette! This quad offers a range of purple shades, so you can go as bold and rich or as light and ethereal as you want.
Try This Look: Go full-on fairy by creating a soft, understated lavender eye look. Dust the lightest shade all over the lid, buffing it out so it extends just past the crease. Take the periwinkle-colored shade and work on the outer half of the lid and lower lashline. Blend it so the color transition is subtle and seamless. (Optional: to intensify the look and contour the eye, work the dark plum shade into the crease and blend out.)
Feeling like a boss lady? The answer is always, YAS. You should flaunt that sass with a jewel-toned smoky eye courtesy of this pigment-packed palette. Featuring sultry shades of fuchsia, silver, mulberry and nude, there’s plenty of variety here to match your mood.
Try This Look: Have some fun with a two-toned eye look. Apply the gray tone to the inner half of the eyelid. Layer on your color until you get the intensity you desire. Then, apply the rich magenta shade to the outer half of the lid. Use a fluffy shadow brush to blend the two colors in the middle of the lid so it takes on an ombré effect. Then, buff out to the crease area with the fluffy brush so the colors blend out just past the crease. Apply the light peach shade to the brow bone and blend.

L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche La Palette Nude in Nude Intense
A neutral shadow palette is an essential for any makeup lover. Inspired by pro makeup artists’ go-to shades, this palette is a carefully curated collection of every type of nude you could ever want or need and that neutral, earthy tones are far from basic.
Try This Look: Start with an eye-popping brown eye makeup look. After priming the lid, use the palette’s shimmery taupe or peach on the lid as a base. Then, add dimension by applying a richer brown into the eye socket to bring out the natural contours of the eyes. To define the eye even more, add a soft champagne from the palette onto the inner corners of the eyes and brow bones. Add some liner and mascara and you’ve got an A-plus look on your hands, er, eyes.
Though this palette is small, it’s jam-packed with color and makeup possibilities. Featuring a range of 12 shades that run the gamut — beige, champagne, peach, purple, emerald and sapphire — your options are endless. You can go as natural and neutral or as bold and sultry as you want. This palette will be the ideal tool to take your makeup from day to night.
Try This Look: Give the trendiest look on the block — reverse eye shadow — a spin. Take a bold shade (like “Heroine” or “Lounge” from the palette) and apply it liberally along the lower lash line until you get the intensity you want. Use one of the more neutral shades on the top lid, and add black mascara.
