Neon Hair, Don’t Care — We’re Obsessing Over These Rainbow Looks

We have a whole folder on Instagram dedicated to hair color looks we love, and lately we’ve been saving more and more dye jobs featuring pops of neon. From strands of bright pink to electric blue braids, we’re super into the rainbow style and think you will be, too, which is why we rounded up some of our favorite colorful hair examples here.

Punk Pink

Adding some pink strands to your hair is just as cool now as it was back in middle school. This pink look perfectly complements darker hair shades. To try it sans commitment, we recommend using the L’Oréal Paris Colorista Temporary 1 Day Hairspray in Hot Pink. It washes out in a single shampoo.

Animal Print

Want to take your neon hair color to the next level? Apply it in a unique pattern, like this bright purple animal print. Talk about taking a walk on the wild side!

Rainbow Frame

Electric Braids

Nothing looks cooler than these blue neon braids. Weave brightly colored extensions into your natural braids for a totally eye-popping look. If you want more rainbow action, use multiple colors of extensions.

Neon Ombré

Take your ombré hair color fup a notch with pops of neon orange and yellow. Starting the color at your mid-lengths is an unexpected way to add excitement to your natural shade.
