This Artist is Collaborating With YSL Beauty and We Couldn’t be More Thrilled

She may be “bad at love,” but little did you probably know that she’s great at makeup. Yves Saint Laurent Beauté is partnering with singer Halsey — and we couldn’t think of anyone more suited for the gig.  

The reason for the partnership? The award winning electro pop singer actually moonlights as her very own makeup artist — “while everyone knows about her chart topping music, her talent as a makeup artist is a secret to many,” the brand noted. And why YSL? The French beauty brand addressed that, as well. “YSL Beauté has always had a strong legacy of provocative and creative style. Similarly, Halsey’s own natural beauty and honest approach to life has stand-out appeal. Her bold lyrics and strong vocals radiate with passion and power.”

Taking this cue every month, Halsey will reveal her best makeup tips and tricks to her whopping 6.5 million Instagram audience, using classic (and new!) products from the iconic brand.

Not only are we excited to see Halsey’s makeup-forward take on our feeds — we’re even more eager to see her edgy appeal vis-à-vis YSL’s luxe spirit.
