While scrolling through Instagram, we stumbled upon this confetti eyeliner look courtesy of Kayleigh Golding. When we first saw the look, it made us a smile. Between the bright collection of colors and the fun small dots that reminded us of confetti, we thought this makeup look could be a fun way to celebrate Pride month — even if the parades were cancelled. The best part is that it’s super easy to do. Ahead, our art director Melissa San Vincente-Landestoy created the look and is giving us a step-by-step tutorial.

STEP 1: Create Your Winged Eyeliner

The first step to creating this look is by drawing a winged eyeliner. For this look, San Vincente-Landestoy used the NYX Professional Makeup Vivid Brights Liner in Pastel Pink, which has a super fine tip applicator to help with precision. Make sure to drag your liner to about where your eyebrow ends. Doing this will add a little more drama to the look, making the bright pink hue pop.

STEP 2: Create Your Dots

Next, using multiple bright colors of the NYX Professional Makeup Vivid Brights Liner and Epic Wear Eyeliner, San Vincente-Landestoy applied small dots on top of her pink eyeliner. For this step, don’t worry about being perfect or placing your dots in a specific place. The most important part, she says, is to try not to focus too many dots of the same color in one place.

STEP 3: Apply Mascara

Finish off the look with your favorite volumizing mascara. Ours is the Maybelline New York Falsies Lash Lift Mascara because the fiber-infused formula thickens and extends lashes, offering a lash-lift look without the lash-lift price or trip to the salon.
