Rainbow Brows Are the Bold, Unexpected Trend You Need to Try
When most people think of colorful eye looks, vivid eyeshadow or neon eyeliner usually come to mind, but you can also create a bold look by extending bright hues up to your brows. According to Pinterest, “rainbrows” are one of the next big beauty trends and beauty influencer Tyra Janea (@tyrajanea) is all about it. Follow her tutorial for rainbow brows to add an unexpected pop to your next makeup look.

  • STEP 1:

    Prep Your Brows

    Before creating this colorful look, use an eyebrow gel to lock your brows into place. We like the L’Oréal Paris Unbelievabrow Longwear Top Coat because it’s easy to apply, waterproof and keeps brows sealed in place for up to 30 hours.

  • STEP 2: 

    Create a Rainbow

    To get the rainbow effect, Naté used the NYX Professional Makeup Vivid Brights Créme Colours in Cyberpop, Lightshow, Get Money, Blueprint and Sugar Rush. Using a slanted eyeshadow brush, blend the red shade, Cyberpop, into the inner corner of your eyebrow, making sure to extend the color slightly below the brow hairs. Wipe off the brush and repeat this process with each color, moving slightly towards the end of your brow with each new shade. The last shade you should use is the purple color, Sugar Rush, on the outer corner of your eyebrow.

  • STEP 3:

    Sharpen the Line

    To make a more precise edge, first Naté recommends using a makeup wipe to clean the area. Then, blend a full coverage concealer like the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Concealer under your eyebrows to create a more defined rainbow line.

  • STEP 4:

    Complete the Look

    Continue on with the rest of your makeup then go out and rock your rainbrows!
