Probably the coolest thing about Thanksgiving is how different the day is for everyone — I’ve spent Thanksgivings at the same grandma’s house for years, but this year I’ll be switching it up and going out for the occasion. And with these transitions come different makeup looks, of course. Here are a few ideas to inspire your Thanksgiving makeup this year — whether that means takeout and Netflix, a cozy meal with family or an awesome Friendsgiving gathering.

Thanksgiving Dinner At Grandma's

Step 1: Julia starts by priming her face and goes on to prep her eyes with the OG Urban Decay Primer Potion.

Step 2: She then uses a light champagne shadow to base her eyes and sweeps a light brown shadow into her crease.

Step 3: Julia then adds some red and orange tones into her crease — focusing the red on the top of her crease and the burnt orange in the outer crease.

Step 4: She then foils a shimmery brown shade onto her lid to sparkle up the eye and adds a deeper brown color.

Step 5: Julia then stipples on L’Oréal Paris Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation all over her face.

Step 6: Julia then applies NYX Professional Makeup Dark Circle Concealer under her eyes and sets it with NYX Professional Makeup HD Finishing Powder in Banana.

Step 7: She fills in her brows, adds a slick cat eye and finishes off her eyes with L’Oréal Paris Telescopic Mascara.

Step 8: She bronzes her face and warms up her cheeks with a peachy blush and glittering highlight.

Step 9: She then finishes off the look with a glossy nude lip.

Friendsgiving

Step 1: Lonyea starts by prepping her eye with a creamy neutral base.

Step 2: She then uses a beige transition color in her crease.

Step 3: She taps in a dark cherry-red into her crease, and takes a deeper brown shadow onto her lid.

Step 4: Lonyea then applies her lashes.

Step 5: She dabs on a layer of L’Oréal Paris Youth Code Pore Vanisher Primer.

Step 5: Then, she stipples on her foundation and conceals under her eyes.

Step6: She then highlights her face and finishes off the look with a winey-pink liquid lip.

Netflix and Take-Out

Step 1: Frances starts by moisturizing her face and preps her eyes with the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser.

Step 2: She then goes in with a orangey-beige in her crease and foils a bronzey color onto her lid. Then, she adds a deeper bronze to her crease.

Step 3: She lines her upper lash line with a cat eye and applies false lashes.

Step 4: Next, Frances primes her face and applies L’Oréal Pro Glow Infallible Foundation and buffs that in.

Step 5: She conceals her under eyes with Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser and NYX Professional Makeup HD Photogenic Concealer to brighten up any uneven tones.

Step 6: She then bakes her face and adds glow with Urban Decay Beached Bronzer.

Step 7: Frances finishes by highlighting her face and adds a gray-ish brown liquid lippie to complete the look.

Fancy AF Thanksgiving Event

Step 1: Melly starts off by priming her face and applying foundation. She then goes in and contours and highlights her face. She then sets her face with a translucent powder.

Step 2: She then packs on a burnt orange shade into her crease, and adds a pinky burgundy shade overtop.

Step 3: Melly swipes a red shadow overtop her crease and blends. She then adds a deep brown on an angled brush to her crease and blends that out as well.

Step 4: Melly adds concealer onto her lid and packs on a champagney lid shadow to create a super cool contrast. She then goes in and blends out her outer V, and goes in and lines her lash line with the L’Oréal Infallible Gel Eyeliner.

Step 5: Melly then applies her lashes and finishes off her lips with a deep burgundy liquid lippie.
