Deena has worked in beauty editorial for over 10 years serving as Senior Editor for Allure.com, Senior Content Manager for DevaCurl and Beauty Editor for Essence.com. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, SELF, Byrdie and Teen Vogue. Deena currently resides in New Jersey where she lives with her husband and two children. Her likes include the Fall season, homemade waffles, spectacular views (preferably abroad) and playing the guitar.
