Nail polish is a solid gift for all ages — it’s fun, affordable and one of those products you can just never have too many of (see also: lipstick, bobby pins and earring backs). To be clear, we definitely have a shade or two in our nail polish collection that was gifted to us at least ten years ago. And as is the case with most of our beauty products, we have a hard time letting go of our polish, especially when it reminds us of a special time or person. To hone in on that feeling and to make the act of gifting nail polish even more special, Essie just launched the #EssieLove Moments Collection, featuring six special, celebratory shades meant for giving to your friends and loved ones.

There’s a shade that works for just about every special life moment, and the coolest part is that the shades are very accurately reflective of the mood. The six new polishes are Sheer Luck (classic sheer pink), Nailed It! (deep burgundy red), Birthday Girl (iridescent sheer pink), Congrats (opalescent glitter), The Best-est (cool gray) and Mani Thanks (shimmering champagne gold). The Congrats shade is the confetti-fueled shade you’d imagine, while The Best-Est is a surprisingly cool and chic color made for your lifelong bestie. Whether you’re congratulating a friend on a new job, looking for a little addition to a birthday gift or searching for the perfect party favor, there’s an option for everyone.

If you’re anything like us, you probably have a shade in mind for someone special in your life already. Thankfully, you don’t have to wait. #EssieLove nail polish is currently available at essie.com for $9. Happy gifting — just don’t forget to keep one at least one for yourself.
