5 Fourth of July Makeup Tutorials Worth Binge-Watching

The Fourth of July is the perfect opportunity to debut one of those unused pans in that massive eyeshadow palette of yours — perhaps the fiery red shade you’ve considered sweeping on your lids every now and then or that aqua blue eyeshadow you’ve been dying to test but haven’t. No matter what your plans are for the day, there’s a festive makeup look perfect for every type of event. Ahead, we’ve rounded up five tutorials from some of our favorite beauty influencers to give you some inspo.

The Red, White and Blue Half Cut Crease

This look is certainly more for the makeup maximalist, but it’s also super wearable (and bound to draw in all the compliments). Created by beauty influencer Angela Bright, the look features a set of bold falsies, plus white and red eyeshadow paired with glittery blue eyeshadow on her lower lash line.

The Sparkly Blue Liner Look

Nicol Concilio starts this look by using her very own eyeshadow palette from Violet Voss. She cuts her crease with a combination of neutral shades and then draws on her bright blue liner. If you aren’t into shadow, skip it completely and start following along when Nicole begins applying the liner. Either way, you can’t go wrong.

The Easy and Festive Tutorial

Obsessed with white liquid liner right now? Same.“This look is classic, but also really dramatic,” explains cruelty-free makeup artist Haley Wight. Bonus points: You can get this look at home in under ten minutes.

The Beginner-Friendly Blue Eyeshadow

Here, Esther Kuria walks us through the beginner-friendly steps to create a bold blue eyeshadow look. This tutorial is perfect if you’re not up for wearing red white and blue all at once. Plus, blue shadow is on trend right now, so you’ll be just as cool rocking just one color from the American Flag.

The Blue Cat Eye

Love a cat-eye look? If so, you need to check out this tutorial from NikkieTutorials. She gives it a “Nikki” touch with little sequin stars underneath her eyes. She pairs the look with bright red matte lipstick.
