This Unzippered Rainbow Makeup Look Will Blow Your Mind

Reddit’s Makeup Addiction is a wild place full of the prettiest, trendiest and downright craziest things we’ve ever seen — take this realistic faux freckle hack, for example. In today’s Reddit news, makeup artist Maeghan Victoria just shared an unzippered zipper rainbow makeup look, aptly named “zippers & rainbows.” The look’s so bold and trippy, we just can’t look away.

To get the look, Victoria used an array of products, starting with skin care to prep. She primed her skin with NYX Professional Makeup Honey Dew Me Up Primer and then used NYX HD Concealer Wand in Green to color-correct. For foundation, she used Col-lab Foundation in Ivory, followed by the brand’s matching concealer shade. She set these products with Pretty Vulgar Translucent Setting Powder in Matte About It and contoured with Col-lab Makeup Sun Obsession Sculpting Bronzer in Intoxicating. Whew! But that’s just the beginning, people.

As for the star of the show, the rainbow galaxy part of the look, Victoria picked up the zipper from Fabricland (you can also find ’em at Walmart for less than $5) and used liquid latex to stick it to her face. From there, she used the NYX Profesional Makeup Ultimate Shadow Palette in Brights, along with Huda Beauty Sapphire Obsessions in Electric Blue Matte, Violet Voss Fruit Sorbet Palette in Yellow & Red, Flourish from the Vantage Palette and NYX White Liquid Liner to draw on stars and constellations.
