“Make sure your lips are hydrated and exfoliated before application, and remove any excess product before applying a long-wear or matte product,” celebrity makeup artist and beauty expert Grace Lee explains. “Apply the product and make sure to blot with a tissue. This ensures even application, but also helps press the product into the lips. Fill in with pencil if needed, and follow with one last blot – and lips should stay perfect!”
