We have some good news for would-be festival-goers: get out the glitter liner, lip art and gemstones you thought you weren’t going to be able to wear this spring because there’s a new virtual music festival in town — and everyone is invited. Because of event cancellations due to the COVID-19 outbreak, NYX Professional Makeup (the official beauty sponsor of Coachella) is bringing some of the festival-worthy beauty looks, music and artists to a phone screen near you for a virtual two-part festival event called #EpicTogether, inspired by the brand’s new Epic Wear Liquid Liners.
The #EpicTogether event is kicking off with the Epic Ink-a-Thon x Soto.Gang collaboration (Manuela Soto Sosa is Billie Eilish’s tattoo artist for those who aren’t up on their ink), in which makeup artists, influencers and beauty lovers alike can submit a semi-permanent tattoo they created with the Epic Wear liners. To enter Epic Ink-a-Thon, use the hashtags #EpicWearSoto #epicwear and #sweepstakes for a chance to win a $300 NYX Professional Makeup gift card.
Next on the Epic-chella lineup is the #EpicTogether virtual event from April 10-12, 2020, which will feature livestream performances by Jessie Reyez (4/10 at 6pm PST), Kim Petras (4/11 at 6pm PST) and Princess Nokia (4/12 at 3pm PST) on the NYX Professional Makeup Instagram account.
