mismatched nails

I’m the queen of indecisiveness, especially when it comes to my manicures. Seriously, is there anything more overwhelming than having to choose just one nail polish design?! The options are endless, my inspo board is overflowing, and TBH I want to wear all the trends — all at once. When mismatched manis hit the Insta scene, my non-committal self jumped for joy. Now, it's officially trendy to rock animal print, rainbows, hearts and tie dye all on a different nail at the same freakin’ time. Given my obsession with mismatched manicures, and the fact that we’re all engaging in some DIY nail art during these social-distancing days, I thought it apt to round up my fave, funky looks for you, ahead.

Nail Sticker Szn

I don’t have an artistic bone in my body, so DIY nail art can be a tad tricky (AKA a disaster) for me. That’s why I’m obsessed (I repeat: obsessed) with this nail sticker look by Paint & Co. With nods to everything from UFOs and aliens to butterflies and smiley faces, this mani gives me everything I could ever want — and more.

Eye Spy

I love some good evil-eye action, and this manicure by Ewa Wojcik certainly doesn’t disappoint. While the evil-eye design steals the show, the rest of the colorful nails are super cute, too. So grab as many colors as your heart desires and get to painting.

All My Favorite Things, One Manicure

Rainbows, hearts, stars and cheetah print? The awesome-ness of this Lindsay Cabreros manicure is simply overwhelming. Seriously, this nail-art combo is a dream manicure come to life. If you need me, we’ll be attempting to re-create this, STAT.

Goin’ Bananas

If you’re anything like me, banana bread has become a full-fledged food group during social distancing. What, it’s yummy, OK? Given my everlasting love for the fruit, I’m fully planning to incorporate a bunch into my next at-home mani. Thank you, Moon Nails, for being an inspiration.

You’ve Got This

First and foremost, I love this shirt — but this mismatched manicure doesn’t disappoint either. Rosie Lynall, you have great fashion and great nails. Feel free to mix up the polish shades here to make this look your own.
