If your Pinterest board is filled with inspiration for all of the head-turning embellished eye looks you were planning on creating for music festivals and fun nights out with friends this summer, don’t let social distancing stop you from trying them. With some extra time at home, now’s the perfect time to get creative and spread some joy on your social feeds with dazzling pearl-, rhinestone- and glitter-embellished makeup. We’re sharing some of our favorite looks to get you feeling inspired all over again.

Mermaid Vibes

Rowi Singh surrounded a sunset-like eye look with pearls and shell decals for a summer-ready look. She used Swarovski shell stones, but plastic charms or stickers work just fine.

Follow the Leader

Donni Davy is the head makeup artist on the HBO show Euphoria, a.k.a the person who’s pretty much responsible for starting the current embellished makeup trend. So it’s no surprise that she’s been playing with makeup for her Insta followers lately. One of our fave looks is this snake design that she finished off with small rhinestones for a touch of sparkle.

Starry-Eyes

You don’t need mad makeup skills to create a flawless embellished look. Beauty blogger Lima used Face Lace appliques to create this starry look.

The New Neutral

We don’t know if you’d call pearl-adorned makeup minimalist, but this look makes a solid case for it. Instead of thick liner, makeup artist Dana Vaughan dotted the brown smoky eye with mini pearl decals.

The Eyes Have It

Wearing a face covering when you venture outside is the perfect excuse to go all-in on your eye makeup. Try a bright and sunny look with a chunky glitter-adorned cut crease like this one created by makeup artist Jaleesa Jaikaran.
