Holiday makeup is all about standing out, embracing glitter and shimmer and getting into the festive spirit. It’s our opinion that there’s no better way to check all three boxes than with jewel-toned makeup. Whether you’re going for a monochromatic effect or just want to add a pop of color, look no further than brightly colored gemstones like emerald, sapphire and citrine for inspiration. Amethyst

This rich purple shade is a sure way to make your eyes pop, especially if yours are green or brown.
