When you want a nail look no one else is rocking, you reach out to nail expert Skyy Hadley and get the scoop. We recently caught up with the celeb manicurist and asked for an exclusive mani look, and what she brought back has us excited for our next nail appointment. Skyy is calling out a graphic french mani for fall and beyond — and we couldn’t be more excited to give it a try. This mani may look complicated, but it’s totally DIY-able at home. All you need is a thin nail brush, patience and Q-tips just in case you mess up.

You’ll Need:

A thin nail brush

Essie First Base Base Coat

Essie Blanc

Essie Speed Setter Top Coat

Get the look:

Step 1: Paint your nails with a coat of Essie Base Coat and wait until dry.

Step 2: Using Essie Blanc, draw a stripe across your nail as you would for a normal French manicure.

Step 3: Using a thin striping brush, draw a slightly curved line at the midway point of your nail — you can use the “moon” on your nails as an indicator. Wait until dry.

Step 4: Go over your work with a layer of Speed Setter Top Coat and wait for it to dry.
