Essie Expressie Quick Dry Nail Color in Up Up & Away Message

February is that cold, gray time of year that for me, requires lots of pick-me-ups in the form of bright outfits and manicures. This shade, a punchy teal blue, is going to do just the trick. The fast-drying Expressie formula is perfect for my low-maintenance vibe of the moment and I love that the polish (plus the rest of the new Dial It Up collection) is inspired by Y2K. I would have loved this shade as much back then as I do now, that’s for sure!

Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge Intimatte Valentine’s Day 2021 Limited Edition in Pleasure First

With their velvety, hydrating formulas, the Intimatte line has been a favorite of mine since it launched in the fall of last year. After scooping up two shades, I’ve had my eye on a third — Pleasure First, a rich, orange-toned red. Now available in a limited edition tube decorated with a beyond chic floral lace design, there’s truly no time like the present.

L’Oréal Paris Brilliant Signature Shiny Lip Stain Lipstick

Pretty cool things happen when you combine a long lasting lip stain and a gloss. I live by lip stains, and I’m exploring glosses more, so Brilliant Signature has become one of my new favorite lippies to swipe on when I’m craving the best of both worlds. Although it has a shiny finish, it really sticks onto the lips and is smudge-free, even while wearing a face mask. I’d highly recommend it if you love the look of a bold, pigmented gloss.

E.l.f. Cosmetics Putty Blush

Looking for a transfer-proof blush to apply that’s mask-friendly? Let me introduce you to this sweet putty formula. It’s super pigmented, glides on easily and does not move an inch after application. It gives me the perfect flush — I can’t get enough.

Maybelline New York TattooStudio Tattoo Brow 36 HR Brow Pencil

I have fake blonde hair and brown eyebrows and recently I’ve been reaching for the light blonde shade of this brow pencil. It has a neutral undertone that blends in well with my brow hairs without looking mismatched or harsh. Aside from being the perfect shade, the dual-ended pencil is also super easy to use. I start by brushing up my brow hairs with the spoolie and follow by filling in sparse areas with the high-pigment pencil. The best part? My brows stay looking fresh and full all day.

Maya Chia PowerFol Scalp and Hair Serum

The COVID-19 pandemic (and the stress that comes with it) has not been great for my hair. I started to notice a bit of thinning, especially around the front, so I couldn’t wait to try this scalp and hair-care product from Mia Chia. The treatment, which includes peptides, adaptogens and collagen, helps create stronger, healthier hair, gives instant volume and minimizes the appearance of fallout. I’ve been using this spray every night for a few weeks now and have definitely noticed less fallout in my brush and a fuller feeling ponytail.

Jason Wu Hot Fluff Lipstick

After nearly a year of working from home, my daily beauty routine has become and remains to be very minimal. Whenever I do reach for makeup, it’s usually just a bit of concealer, mascara and this lipstick. I love it because it’s so lightweight, it feels like you aren’t wearing anything on your lips. It also has a gorgeous matte finish. I love dabbing it in the center of my lips and blending it out with my finger for a very natural-looking, bitten lip stain effect. That being said, it’s very buildable so you can totally layer it to get that full pigmentation. The shade Eclair is my absolute favorite for it’s soft, rosy tones. When I’m feeling fancy, I’ll also apply a little bit on my cheeks as blush and the results are *chef’s kiss*.

NYX Professional Makeup Bright Maker Primer

I can’t go without brightening formulas in the winter (#dullskinprobs), so I sneak in products that give me a glow wherever possible. The Bright Maker Primer is the latest addition to my makeup routine, and it may just be my new go-to way to get allllllll the luminosity. The peach tint of the primer evens out my skin tone while the papaya extract instantly brightens me. It perfectly preps my base so I don’t have to overcompensate with intense amounts of foundation and highlighter to maintain the glow. It also extends my makeup wear like nothing else, so I make sure to use this primer on days when I have back-to-back Zoom meetings and don’t have time to touch up my foundation.
