We're Going Out! Here Are the Eye Looks We're Creating With the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils

Shade: Donut
Purple eyeshadow is definitely out of my comfort zone, but when I saw a swatch of this shimmery Donut shade, I knew I had to try it. It’s an icy purple-blue with warm undertones that looks absolutely stunning by itself or paired with eyeshadow. For my post-vax going out look, I applied a layer of Donut all over my lid with a black winged liner on top — the combo makes me feel like a ’60s dame with a 2021 twist. I also added some shimmery shadow on top for extra sparkle.Thanks to this easy-to-use pencil and gorgeous hue, I think I’ll be reaching for purple shadow a whole lot more now. Sooooo good.

Shade: Frosting
I’m obsessed with Frosting, a pearly pigment that shimmers like a glazed donut when it catches the light. Not only is it so versatile, but the creamy texture makes it so easy to create show-stopping eye looks. My favorite way to use the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil is to simply swipe the icy color across my lids, concentrating on my inner corner, which really makes my blue eyes pop! I’ve been stashing this eye pencil in my weekender bag all summer long because it makes makeup application a breeze, especially when you’re on the go and don’t want to pack too many products.

Shade: Iced Latte
To be honest, I’ve never been a fan of pencil shadows — I find them difficult to blend, but this one from NYX is like nothing I’ve ever tried before. The pencil seamlessly glides across my lid without tugging and deposits a beautiful color that is more blendable than most powder eyeshadows I use. Right now, I love using Iced Latte, a gorgeous pale pink shade that is so versatile. It’s the perfect base color on my fair skin, plus the creamy formula doubles as an eye primer. Currently, my favorite way to use this pencil is along my waterline to brighten up my eyes and make them appear more open.

I am obsessed with green eyeshadow lately, so I jumped at the chance to try the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Matcha, a shimmering, frosted lime. It’s the perfect green because it’s not too yellow, so it doesn’t show up gold on my skin. The formula is super creamy and blendable with a finger or brush (I prefer fingers for ease!). I love layering colorful eyeliner on top of this shade, like the turquoise color I used here.

The NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil is perfect for someone who’s wanting to get into creating fun colorful eye looks, but may not know where to start. It’s been a long time since I’ve ventured into the world of bolder eye looks, and this product helped spark that curiosity for me. This pencil is highly pigmented and very easy to apply. Simply outline the shape you're wanting and fill it in! I see myself collecting different shades and doing some graphic eyeliner looks next! There are infinite ways to use these pencils, and I think I want to try them all!

Shade: Blueberry Pop
Typically, I’m a neutral girl, but every now and then I like to add a pop of color to my life and the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Blueberry Pop might be my new favorite! I love that it’s a deeper shade of blue because I can get away with doing an all-over color without the chance of things looking a bit on the ashy side. The fact that it’s creamy and easy to blend out makes the application process so much easier. I like to do an all-over wash of color on my lids and blend it out with transition shades that give it a blown-out look.
