To rid your skin of its damaged surface, gentle exfoliation is key. Opt for a soft scrub like that will remove old cells without harming new ones that are developing. Avoid harsh scrubs that can abrade your skin even more and add to the damage.
A word of warning: While you may instinctively opt for a peel to rid your skin’s surface of its summer damage, we recommend you keep them away from your face. They can cause irritation and harm at a time when it's already vulnerable.
The sun has a way of zapping essential moisture from our bodies and it’s important to recharge with a hydrating solution in the form of a moisturizer or serum. But don't just slap any old cream on your delicate mug, especially if you’re suffering from a sunburn that has left your skin irritated and inflamed! Go for a product that will regenerate cells, replenish moisture, calm and rebalance your skin.
