Hey, all you cool cats and kittens, we’ve been doing some research on the ’gram and have come to an amazing conclusion: Animal-print nails are officially trending. From snakeskin and cheetah print to tortoiseshell designs and zebra stripes, these fierce looks and next-level nail art are all the inspo you’ll need for your next DIY mani. So if you’re a jungle lover, wild child or simply crazy about cats keep reading, because we’re rounding up our favorite animal-print manicures, ahead.

Matte Attack

Cheetahs are as fierce as they come, and this mani by Nail Love By Kylie is proves it. The teal hue is perfect for spring and the matte finish keeps the look understated and chic. The best part is that it actually seems pretty easy to DIY. All you need is a thin nail brush to draw the print.

Cheetah Girl

Can’t decide on just one color? We can relate. Get all the bright, bold and fun nail polish shades in on your animal-print fun. Pick a print (think: cheetah, tiger, leopard) and make all the spots different colors. Need some inspo? Look at this multicolored mani by Valori Boss

Lions and Tigers and Cow Print, Oh My!

Farm-girl chic? It’s a thing, just peep this nail artistry by Danni. It’s French manicure-ish, but with an animal-print upgrade. She uses tiger, tortoiseshell, leopard and cow prints here. That said, feel free to customize the tips and make it your own.

Animal Lovin’

Into animal print and still want to show off your sweet side? This adorable look by The Powder Room is for you. The little heart is filled with cheetah print — it’s purr-fect (excuse our pun).  We’re really into the baby pink polish here, but if you want to take a trip to the wild side, try using a bolder base color like hot pink or bright blue.

Can’t Be Tamed

This manicure by Becky Sadler is giving us some major safari vibes. The tiger face may be a little (OK, a lot) difficult to DIY, but the tiger print stripes are actually pretty easy. Just grab an orange nail polish, like the Essie Fall for NYC, a black polish and a dotting tool.

Slitherin’ Along

If cat, cow or cheetah print doesn’t get you excited, take a look at this snakeskin mani. The gray, scaly print is moody and the gold crystals give the nails a chic edge. Well done, Aleksandra Wysoka, well done.
