The bundles were created in partnership with renowned SFX makeup artistVe Neill, who created six characters based on the twisted fairytale: Kitty Kat, Topsy Turvy, Alex, Ace & Spade, Bunni and The Queen. Each character’s makeup was created using NYX makeup products that you can pick up at your local drugstore, and each look is broken down on this handy-dandy page. Ahead, we’ve rounded up exactly what products you need to achieve each personality.
Kitty Kat is a dark take on the Cheshire Cat, if you will, complete with stripey-pink details and a button nose. For this look, you’ll need the NYX Professional Makeup On The Rise Volume Liftscara, the Epic Ink Liner in Black, the Ultimate Edit Shadow Palette in Brights, Jumbo Eye Pencil in Black Bean, Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk and Glow-On Lip Gloss in Floral Space for a finish that glows in black light.
If you want to dress as an electro-bright skull this Halloween, Topsy Turvy is the character for you. For this colorful (yet terrifying) look, you’ll need the NYX Professional Makeup Ultimate Brights Shadow Palette, the On The Rise Volume Liftscara, Epic Ink Liner in Black, White Liquid Liner, Jumbo Eye Pencil in Black Bean, Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk, and Glow-On Lip Gloss in Floral Space.
The jester of Wonderland After Dark definitely has to be Ace + Spade — and her playing-card inspired look has us reeling. For this look, create your Spade with the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Black Bean, Epic Ink Liner in Black and Slim Eye Pencil in White. For your hearts, apply the Glitter Primer with the Face & Body Glitter in Red, and complete the look with the Slide On Lip Pencil in Red Tape.
Alex is the broken porcelain doll that gives us the creeps, which makes her perfect for Halloween. You can choose to create this look in a more wearable finish or go all-out zombie. Either way, you’ll need the NYX Professional Ultimate Edit Shadow Palette in Ash, the Slide-On Pencil in Pure White, Epic Ink Liner in Black, the On The Rise Volume Liftscara, Face & Body Glitter in Blue, the Glitter Primer and, of course, the Slim Lip Pencil in Hot Red and Glow-On Lip Gloss in Floral Space.
Another animal of Wonderland After Dark, Bunni is a sexier take on that rabbit who’s always late. For this look, you’ll want to create your face shades with the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk and the Ultimate Edit Petite Shadow Palette in Brights. Then, complete your glittering eyes and eyebrows with the Face & Body Glitter in Ice. To give some definition, you’ll also want use the On the Rise Volume Liftscara, Epic Ink Liner in Black and the Powder Puff Lippie Lip Cream in Teenage Dream for a pink pout. Add a swipe of the Glow-On Lip Gloss in Floral Space and you’ll be ready for the night.
Wonderland After Dark can’t go without a ruler — which is why The Queen ties the whole universe together.
