How to Get a Wearable Festival Look

Presenting … a tutorial by the M Crowd — the wildly talented group of makeup influencers who create exclusive content just for Makeup.com. Here, Miranda shows us how to achieve the ultimate festival makeup look.

Festival season is just around the corner, and while we’re all for the major glitter and glow, sporting a comfortable and wearable makeup look that will take you from the concerts to the after-parties is a must. Here’s how to get the look right, according to Miranda:

Step 1: I started by priming my face with the NYX Professional Makeup Total Control Primer, then applying a thin layer of the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation for hydration and coverage.

Step 2: For a little more coverage and a satin finish, I apply the NYX Total Professional Makeup Control Drop Foundation overtop.

Step 3: I prime my eyes with the NYX Professional Makeup Eyeshadow Base in White to make the shadow colors pop.

Step 4: Using the NYX Professional Makeup I Love You So Mochi Sleek and Chic Palette, I place the bottom middle coral shade in my crease and blend upwards. Then, using the top middle purple shade, I pack the shadow in my outer corner. I blend the two colors together with the bronze shade to the right of the purple.

Step 5: Next, I take the NYX Professional Makeup Glitter Primer and cut my crease by applying it all over the mobile lid.

Step 6: Then, I pack the NYX Professional Makeup Shimmer Down Loose Glitter in Walnut on top of the primer, working all the way up to the crease.

Step 7:  Next, I’m going for a dramatic winged liner using the NYX Professional Makeup Matte Liquid Liner.

Step 8: I topped off my eye look with the Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara — no falsies needed!

Step 9: Time to contour with the NYX Professional Pro Highlight & Contour Pro Palette. Use whatever shade compliments your skin tone best.

Step 10: Next, I took the NYX Ombre Blush in Feel the Heat, which is a bright orange, and applied it gently to the cheeks. Be careful — it’s super pigmented, so less is more!

Step 11:  Going back into the NYX Pro Highlight & Contour Pro Palette, I used the brightest highlight shade with a large shadow brush and dusted it on top of my cheekbones.

Step 12:  Finishing the look with the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in San Francisco for a coral pop!
