Steal Zendaya’s Glowing Red-Carpet Beauty Look From TV’s Biggest Award Show

At last night’s big TV awards, the stars seriously brought their A-game when it came to the beauty department. And while Zendaya may not have been up for any official award, she definitely got our vote for best makeup look. Her newly debuted red hair — styled in loose old Hollywood-esque waves — was the perfect complement to her sultry, yet understated (well, compared to the makeup she sported in Euphoria!) glam. The Lancôme Ambassadress and Tommy Hilfinger co-designer had celebrity makeup artist Sheika Daley to help her get ready pre-show. Daley used exclusively Lancôme products to create Zendaya’s glowing-meets-classic vibe. To get the look at home, read ahead for a step-by-step makeup tutorial.

STEP 1: Glam Up the Eyes

Start with the eyes and brows before working on your complexion. Daley used the Lancôme Brow Densify Powder-To-Cream in Auburn (but you would use the shade that best matches your hair) to add color and density to the brows. She then went in with the Lancôme Brow Define Pencil to define the brow shape and create a natural yet filled-in brow. Finally, she used the Lancôme Sourcils Styler in Transparent to secure the style.

Next, Daley moved onto the eyeshadow. Given Zendaya’s emerald dress by Vera Wang (how stunning, you guys?!), Daley went with a smokier shadow look using Lancôme Color Design eye shadows. First, she used Amber Velour, a pink metallic hue, as a base color and blended it out all around the eyelid. She then went in with Scorching, a matte peach shade, and brought the color as close to the lash line as possible. For a little pop, Daley finished off the look with Galactic Sapphire, which has a smoky hue, packed in the center of the lid and in the inner corner of the eye to highlight. An uber-light wing was drawn on using Lancôme Grandiose Liner in Matte Noir. As afinishing touch to this red-carpet glam, Daley used individual lashes for some extra length and volume that were then polished off with Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara

STEP 2: Create a Flawless Complexion

Zendaya was literally radiating on the carpet courtesy of Lancôme’s complexion products. I mean, her glow is seriously insane. To get the same dewy skin, start by using Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24H Long Wear Foundation. Once your base is finished, go in with Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Foundation Stick in darker shades to contour your cheeks, nose and forehead. For a more full-coverage face, feel free to apply Lancôme’s Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Concealer in any area that has blemishes or discoloration.

Given that dewy skin was clearly a priority with this look, it’s no surprise that Daley grabbed Lancôme’s Click and Glow Liquid Highlighter and applied it on Zendaya’s cheekbones, bridge of the nose, Cupid’s bow and forehead. Daley set everything in place using the Lancôme Long Time No Shine Setting Powder in Translucent, and as people who have used this powder in the past, let us tell you, your makeup won’t budge with it. To add some color to the face, Daley used Lancôme Blush Subtil in Absolutely Happy and gently swept it over the apples of the cheeks. She finished off Zendaya’s complexion with Lancôme Star Bronzer in Golden. Then, she spritzed Lancôme’s Fix It Forget It Setting Spray before moving on to the lips.

STEP 3: Finish Off With a Lip

Zendaya’s muted-glam look was polished off with L'Absolu Rouge Ruby Cream Lipstick in Vintage Rose. (Pro tip: dab the lipstick on your lips rather than swiping it across for a more natural vibe.) Obviously to get Zendaya’s shine, you’ll need a hydrating gloss. Daley used Lancôme L'Absolu Lacquer Gloss in Sweet Rose and Lancôme Prismatic Plump Lip Gloss in Sweet Glow on top.
