If you need another excuse to continue your rosé obsession –– here’s one: rose gold nail polish is perfect for fall. The rosy metallic color is a great way to transition from bright, eye catching hues (think Essie Clambake), to rich, metallic tones. Finding a good rose gold polish can be difficult, but we’re here to help. (Try Essie Buy Me A Cameo, a frosted satin mocha nail polish that looks good on pretty much everyone.)

If you want more than a simple paint job, try this fun animal print mani from Essie. It’s super easy and will have everyone asking who hooked you up (us!). Keep reading for this easy DIY.

You’ll Need:

Prep: Apricot Oil

Base: First Base Base Coat

Essie Colors: Wild Nude, Truth or Bare and Buy Me a Cameo

Top Coat: Gel Setter

Start by prepping your nails with a thin layer of First Base Base Coat. Apply two coats of Wild Nude. Wipe most of the polish off of the brush and gently apply Buy Me a Cameo in X shapes. Using a detail brush, apply Truth or Bare in C shapes to resemble cheetah print and place random dots of Truth or Bare. To finish off the look, dab small circles of Buy Me a Cameo in the center of each C. (Pro tip: Use the tip of a bobby pin for the perfect sized circles.) Once dry, seal the look with Essie Gel Setter Top Coat.
